Prime Responsibilities
    -Manage the Plant & Piping Engineering activities in accordance with Project requirements within the assigned budget, time schedule and quality standards. -Consequential assessment and corrective action plan -Ensure effective utilization of resources, control of engineering man-hours -Timely issuance of engineering deliverable and monitoring release of ‘HOLDs’ -Participate in 3D model review (30%, 60% & 90%) and close out of all tags -Ensure readiness for 3D model reviews & arranging all pre requisites -Participate in HAZOP & SIL Resolving and close out of HAZOP & SIL action items as applicable -Familiarity with International codes and standards -Ensuring timely input to cross discipline function such as process, mechanical, Technical HSE, Civil, E&I -Advance design tools especially use of Smart Plant design suite of tools, PDS & PDMS -Resource allocation and gap analysis -WBS identification -Ensuring 3D model clash run executed on regular interval and proper resolution with all discipline -Participate and drive value engineering sessions -Identify risk, gaps and mitigate effectively -Monitor engineering quality and fully engage to diagnose and correct action plan -Continuous improvement in design tools, efficiencies and overall quality of deliverables -Update and create engineering policies and procedures as required to improve efficiencies and adjust to new markets -Participate in monthly project review sessions to stay current on status of on-going projects -Participate in monthly forecasting sessions to update management on source requirements -Provide monthly reports to management of engineering staffing, training, assignments and goal completions Shared cross-functionally -Actively communicate with other disciplines to optimize areas of interface during the design development -Support/ implement departmental quality management programs -Provide technical guidance to task force members -Work with teams to develop engineering budgets estimates for work share projects -Assist with hiring, training, and mentoring -Ensure proper training programs are conducted within the departments to keep staff current on latest technology and procedures -Build strong cohesive teams that works together -Work closely with project teams to establish annual goals and initiatives to advance the teams and maintain a high level of competency and exceptional quality -Continually communicate with counterparts to understand upcoming projections of staffing needs and take action to meet the varying needs.
